Teenager who escaped crocodile attack said he put himself in harm's way to impress a girl

What's the craziest thing you've ever done to impress someone you liked? Chances are, it didn't involve knowingly putting your life on the line. Australian backpacker Lee De Paauw jumped into crocodile infested waters to impress Sophie Patterson, the girl he's dating. He was savagely attacked by a crocodile but luckily, he escaped with extensive injuries to his arm after putting up a fight. He said all he could think was:


“Holy crap, I’m gone for sure." “At that point, I punched it in the snout. The second hit, I got it straight in the eye and then it let go."Sophie said:

“It all happened very fast, pretty much as soon as he jumped in, there was splashing and screaming." “There was a lot of blood. A lot of bone. It was just pretty horrendous.”Even after the traumatic experience, De Paauw appears to still be smitten with Patterson. He says they plan to see a movie together, once he’s released from the hospital.

“She’s beautiful, caring and kind. I didn’t know there was a croc there,” he said. “I just done it for Sophie.”

Mike Epps estranged wife wants $109k in monthly support amid divorce

Mechelle Epps, the estranged wife of American stand-up comedian and actor, Mike Epps is asking him to pay her $109k a month in child and spousal support following their divorce in 2016, TMZ reports, citing court docs. Ms.Epps told the court that Mike makes $3.5 million a year but recently cut her off from his bank accounts and credit cards, leaving her dry with zero income.
She says Mike never wanted her to work during their marriage, and now she can't land a job because she's too old at 36.

In the docs, she said she spends several thousands of dollars a month on shoes and clothes for their 10 and 12-year-old daughters. Plus, the girls have to get their hair braided at an 'expensive salon' not to mention food, vacations and $72k per year for private schooling.

Mechelle says her mom handles nanny duties hence needs to pay her a mere $3,500 monthly, plus another $600 to cover Mom's Mercedes.

According to the docs, $109,036 per month from Mike should cover everything. Mechelle also wants sole possession of their home.

Mike Epps filed for divorce from his wife of 10 years in January 2016,, but they are yet to reach a final divorce settlement.

Donald Trump sends condolences to Theresa May on the terror attack in London

Five people were killed and several others wounded in a terror attack near the Houses of Parliament in London today. In her reaction, UK Prime Minister Theresa May sounded a defiant note, hours after the attack on the Houses of Parliament, insisting that life will go on in London as normal.


"We will all move forward together," she told reporters in Downing Street. She offered her sympathies to the relatives of those who were killed, saying her "thoughts and prayers were with those who had waved their loved ones off, but will not now be welcoming them home" she said.

US President Donald Trump has also spoken to UK Prime Minister Theresa May to express his sympathy over the Westminster attack. Trump praised "the effective response of security forces and first responders," and offered the US's "full cooperation and support in responding to the attack and bringing those responsible to justice."

Donald Trump Jr receives backlash after he blasts London Mayor for his 'response' to the London terror attack

After yesterday's terror attack in London, US First son, Donald Trump Jr reacted negatively when he read the headline and shared an Independent article titled: Sadiq Khan: 'London mayor says terror attacks 'part and parcel' of living in a major city.' .He tweeted:
“You have to be kidding me?!” “Terror attacks are part of living in big city, says London Mayor Sadiq Khan.”


The only problem is this article was written in September of last year about Mr. Khan’s reaction to the bombing in New York City. The article was a plea from the Mayor for Londoners to be vigilant to the dangers of living in a big city.
The Mayor told the Evening Standard that he had many 'sleepless nights' after a bombing in New York last year, and said that London needs to be prepared for these kinds of attacks. He added:

"That means being vigilant, having a police force that is in touch with communities, it means the security services being ready, but it also means exchanging ideas and best practice."A lot twitter users blasted Trump Jr. for reacting on just the headline of the article before reading the whole article.
