From a position of leadership within the hip hop genre, Reminisce seeks to preserve the culture and elevate the discourse about hip hop beyond the mundane. The Cypher Sessions Vol. 1 marks a beginning in Reminisce’s quest to give young and relatively unknown acts a voice to express their artistry.

With the base elements of rap: One DJ; a turntable and MCs on the microphone, Reminisce will showcase the greatness that Nigerian Hip Hop has become. The Cypher Sessions are devoid of the embellishments that characterize the music industry today.

Volume 1 features some of the fiercest MCs in the genre: CDQ, Vector and Ola Dips. Subsequent editions will host some of most talented rap cats on this side of the divide, while also giving opportunities for underground heroes to get their music heard.

So watch out for this and if you are a promising MC, and stay tuned on how you can participate.

The burgeoning artiste who’s a graduate of Music from the Obafemi Awolowo University didn’t disappoint his teeming fans with his singing prowess and vocal dexterity with this new release. The timeless new single will make it to several playlists in no time.

Born Braimoh Olalekan Oluwasegun, the gifted singer got acquainted with music at an early age and learnt few things from his father who is also a musician.

Brhymes is definitely one of the artistes to watch out for in 2016.
