My resignation has nothing to with the bashing I received online- Seun Onigbinde
Seun Onigbinde has stated that his resignation from the Buhari-led administration had nothing to do with the attacks he received online following his appointment.
Onigbinde, the Co-founder of BudgIT, yesterday announced his resignation as the Technical Adviser to the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Clem Agba. His resignation came after his appointment was greeted with shock and disapproval by Nigerians. Many felt he should never take an appointment with the same government his has openly criticised and worked against.
In a tweet posted on his timeline, Seun stated that his resignation had nothing to the bashing he received after the appointment.
Kindly note that it is not the online anger or rage that made me resign. 90% of the comments I had no chance to read. I believe an atmosphere of mutual trust is critical for whatever I dream of. God bless''.

#BBNaija: ''Myself and Gedoni never had sex'' Khafi insists
Don’t you just love a well-executed slay?
Well, when Fayrouz and Delphino Entertainment tagged the last Delphino Picnic in Abuja “nature meets natural”, they expected a lot of different looks but it was a breath of fresh air to see former BBNaija housemate, BamBam bring the theme to life, literally.
The Big Brother Naija 2018 star lit up the arena with her attention-snatching ensemble.
BamBam who recently said “I do” to the love of her life, Teddy A, was original in her stunning dress which blended into the theme of the Delphino Picnic perfectly, but at the same time stood out enough to make heads turn and cameras flash.
BamBam’s outfit was made by Lady Beellionaire Luxury, her makeup by Chiniella Beauty while the gorgeousness that was her hairstyle was put together by Evi Hair World.
This young woman hardly gets it wrong whenever she steps out for events and this was no different. Add to that the elegance of the event and Fayrouz’s refreshing touch, the upscale premium event lived up to the hype.
That trademark BamBam smile
BamBam’s nature inspired dress effortlessly complements Fayrouz’s all-round “nature meets natural” theme! We stan!
The shutters couldn’t stop clicking
What’s a fun event without a selfie?
We just can’t get enough of BamBam
Beautiful right?
Well, since we don’t have Teddy A’s privilege of seeing this beauty every day, we’ll just wait for her next appearance.
And how wonderful would it be to have our favourite premium soft drink there too?

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala's family fight over late father's throne
The family of Obi Chukwuka Okonjo, the late father of former Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is reportedly enmeshed in a fight over the unauthorised announcement of the death of the 91-year-old King of Ogwashi-Uku community in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State and the successor of the late monarch.
The former Minister was accused by her uncle, Patrick Okonjo of hijacking the functions of the royal family and men who should traditionally announce the death of the traditional ruler and also anointing her younger brother as a successor to the throne without the approval of the ruling council.
The statement read in part, “It is sacrilegious of Ogwashi-Uku custom and tradition for a princess to announce the transition of a monarch or proclaim another. It is a purely traditional function.
“Late Okonjo was never an Obi of Ogwashi-Uku under our tradition but a mere regent. Accordingly, his first child cannot be Obi as deceitfully inferred by Ngozi.”
The Royal Family however debunked claims of Obi Ifechukwude Okonjo being installed wrongly as the King of Ogwashi-Uku community.
“We want to make this known: Patrick Okonjo does not speak for the family; he speaks only for himself as he has always done" a statement released by the acting Diokpa; Umu Obi Obahai Royal family, Prince Emmanuel Ohei and others read in part.
The statement also revealed that the new Obi was rounding off some traditional rites and would soon begin his reign.
