It was the craziest pain ever" - Cardi B speaks on her first butt enlargement surgery as she features in May issue of GQ magazine
Cardi B is the woman of the moment, with an album that was certified gold within the first week it dropped and a baby on the way, she is easily the most talked about woman at the moment.
And, she's also featured in the May issue of the high-end men's fashion magazine, GQ.
The 25-year-old rapper in an interview with GQ's Caity Weaver, spoke of how her body came to be. She said it happened about 4 years ago when she was a stripper. She went under the knife to get bigger features for the following reasons;
(1) her boyfriend had recently cheated on her with a woman who Cardi says "had a fat, big ass" and
(2) she'd observed that her colleagues with big asses made more money than she did stripping, regardless of dancing technique.
To remedy that, Cardi got her butt injected with fillers, which she said was done for $800 by a woman in a basement apartment in Queens.
"When I was 21, I did not have enough meat on my body—if I was to get lipo, I wouldn't have fat for my ass."
Speaking of the procedure, she said: "They don't numb your ass with anything. It was the craziest pain ever. I felt like I was gonna pass out. I felt a little dizzy. And it leaks for, like, five days."
The procedure was a rather risky one but Cardi was happy with the result of hers and she planned to return for a touch-up.
"But by the time I was gonna go get it, the lady got locked up 'cause she's supposedly killed somebody. Well... somebody died on her table."
