Nigerian nanny arrested for killing eight-month-old baby who she force-fed two bottles of milk after the baby woke her up from a nap

A Nigerian woman Oluremi Oyindasola, 66, of Glenarden, Maryland working as a nanny has been arrested and has been charged with second-degree murder, first-degree child abuse resulting in death and other offenses after police said she force fed an eight-month-old baby girl who then later died.
Prince George's County Police said Wednesday, a home surveillance system recorded Oyindasola taking a nap when the crying infant, eight-month-old Enita Salubi, approached her in a toddler walker.

According to Police, Oyindasola unsuccessfully tried to feed the child, then when she got frustrated with the infant not wanting to eat, she 'proceeded to pour a large amount of white liquid directly inside the victim's mouth'.
Col. Harry Bond with Prince George's County Police said:

'She forcefully poured the two bottles of what looks to be milk down the baby's mouth, causing her to not be able to breathe, suffocating her, and eventually she died at the hospital.' The Police also released a press statement which read:

'On October 24th, at about 4.10pm, the baby had been rushed to a hospital after she became unresponsive at home. 'She was pronounced dead a short time later. An autopsy on Tuesday revealed the baby’s cause of death was asphyxiation. The manner of death was ruled a homicide. 'The preliminary investigation revealed the injuries to the baby occurred while in the sole care and custody of Oyindasola.' Oyindasol 'is in the custody of the Department of Corrections,' the release said. Oyindasola, is being held on $1million bond.

EFCC should pay me $200 million for seizing my $15m Patience Jonathan tells court

Former first lady, Patience Jonathan, has asked the Federal High Court Ikoyi Lagos ‎to order the EFCC to pay her $200 million for seizing her $15m found in the accounts of 4 companies currently being investigated for money laundering. ‎

The EFCC had in July placed a ‘No Debit Order’ on the four accounts which were uncovered during the investigation of a former Special Adviser on Domestic Affairs to ex-President Jonathan, Waripamo-Owei Dudafa who had allegedly opened the accounts on behalf of Patience Jonathan.

Patience Jonathan filed a suit against the antigraft agency and Skye Bank, challenging the seizure of her account. ‎She wants the court to order EFCC to remove the 'No Debit Order' placed on her $15 million. She is also asking the court to order Skye Bank to pay her damages in the sum of N200m for what she termed a violation of her right to own personal property under Section 44 of the 1999 Constitution.

The presiding judge Justice Kuewumi adjourned till December 7, 2016 for the hearing of the case.

DJ Young Money signs multi-million naira deal with K-Nation Entertainment

It was a moment of Glitz and Glamour, as Super-kid DJ and Youngest DJ in West Africa, 9-year-old DJ Young Money signed a multi-million naira deal with K-Nation Entertainment, as the in house DJ of the Label.


The kid DJ who was official Disk Jockey at Tinubu's Birthday earlier this month, has gotten accolades from Governor Ambode who tagged him as the future of African Entertainment.


The unveiling and Press Parley recorded a vast host of top Media Houses and personnels who witnessed the signing of the enthralling DJ to K-Nation Entertainment. The Unveiling took place at K-Nation Entertainment Hub in Lekki.


Also present during the unveiling is Ace DJ and father of DJ Young Money, DJ Emmy and Wife. Mr. Kayode Adeyemi who is CEO of the label gave his decent remarks, while tipping Young Money to be a major force in the Industry.


Top Blogger, Writer, and Poet, Godspower Oshodin who is DJ Young Money official Manager and K-Nation Entertainment Media Director, confirmed it to the member of the Press that DJ Young Money is warming up for a Tour across 16 States in Nigeria. He also told the Media that the Label has done everything possible to ensure they balance his Education with his Career.


The Label also unveiled one of Nigeria's fastest rising singers and Songwriter SleamNicco. The Handsome Art expressed his excitement as a new Artist with K-Nation Entertainment. The Label also house the highly talented Wiper Spring, and prolific Producer, Succi.

Last Sunday was a day of double celebration for actress cum producer, Funmi Holder. The Tinsel star premiered her highly anticipated movie, The Grudge at Radison Blu and it was also her birthday.

"The Grudge" focuses on the lives of two lovelorn couples connected by one lonely widow living separate lives. Their lives intertwine and lead to the unravelling of a five-year grudge.

The movie which is billed for cinema release this weekend starting from October 28 will see stars of the movie visit different cinemas. This is the first attempt of Funmi Holder as an executive producer. 'I am delighted about this movie. I am big on story and entertainment, and this is what The Grudge is all about. It is big on qualitative story with unforgettable entertainment. People would be proud of Nollywood watching this starting from Friday, October 28' she said.

The Grudge which stars RMD, Odulade Adekola, Funmi Holder, Ireti Doyle will be in cinemas across Nigeria from Friday. Funmi is popular for her role as Amaka in the M-NET hit series "Tinsel," which also stars her alongside RMD and Ireti Doyle.
