The Confederation of African Football has released a 30 man shortlist for the 2016 African Player of the Year award, with John Obi Mikel, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa making the list.
The Prestigious award, which will take place in Abuja on Thursday, November 5, 2016, will see the Nigerian stars battle the current holder, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Gabon, Samuel Eto’o from Cameroon among several others.
