One Show host Alex Jones will see in the New Year as a married woman after tying the knot with Charlie Thomson on New Year's Eve.
And 28-year-old Alex can look forward to being better off as the couple have sold the rights to their nuptials to a magazine in a deal believed to run to six figures.

Alex and New Zealander Charlie revealed their engagement live on TV in February.
She said of the big day: “It’ll be just with our close friends and family and a day when everybody can have a bit of a laugh.”
Welsh presenter Alex met insurance broker Charlie, who was living in Britain but planning to return Down Under, in 2011.She said: “It’s so refreshing to be with someone outside of the media industry. What works brilliantly is I don’t cook at all and Charlie is a trained chef.”
But it remains to be seen if the couple will stay long-term in the UK.

Alex said: “It’s still an unresolved issue. It’s a big thing to ask him to give up his family and home for good. The issue of New Zealand is still there.”
Her wedding comes days after One Show predecessor Christine Bleakley, wed footballer Frank Lampard.
